Senior Pastor R.L. and Co-Pastor Nicole Richards
Greetings to you in the name of Jesus Christ. It gives us great joy to welcome you to the website of Triumphant Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, Poughkeepsie, New York. We’re glad you have decided to spend some time exploring our church website.
Senior Pastor Richards is a native of the island of Jamaica, West Indies. He was raised in a godly home in a close knit family; he is an anointed man of God! It was a requirement for him to attend regular church services and during that time the Lord touched his life. In his teenage years, he had an encounter with the Savior, responded to the call and was baptized in the name of Jesus and received the Holy Ghost. He served as a member of the choir, youth leader and was an ordained Minister. The Lord has allowed him to serve in this ministry for over 18 years.
Co-Pastor Nicole also developed a relationship with the Lord in her childhood, and was baptized in the name of Jesus and received the Holy Ghost. She served in ministry as a choir member, youth choir director, fundraising committee and a member of the prayer group. Pastor Richards and Lady Nicole have been married for over 28 years. Their union has produced two sons: Jerome and Akeem, who are currently dedicated to the Lord and serving in the music ministry.
Triumphant is a vibrant and thriving church. We believe that the Bible, the eternal word of God, provides the right direction to all, irrespective of religion, culture and ideology. We are committed to following Jesus!

Assistant Pastor: Elder Inbal Mahoney & Evangelist C. Mahoney
Meet our Assistant Pastor, Elder Inbal Mahoney and, his wife, who have been serving, faithfully, alongside our pastors since the inception of Triumphant. They are faithful servants of God and have been stalwarts in the Apostolic faith. Elder Mahoney and Evangelist Mahoney have been saved, baptized and filled up of the Holy Spirit for over 50 years.
They have both served in various capacities in ministry such as Sunday School Teachers, Choir Members, Musician, Administrative Assistant, Baptizer, and Church Committee Members, just to name a few. Elder Mahoney's first call to ministry leadership was through the office of a Deacon. In later years he was ordained a Minister and is now an Elder in the Lord's church. Evangelist Mahoney's first call to ministry leadership was through the office of a Missionary. In later years she was ordained an Evangelist and, is still serving.
Elder Inbal and Evangelist Christene met and fell in love in 1983. They committed their lives in holy matrimony to each other in the same year and, are still madly inlove today. Throughout their years of marriage God has blessed them with children: Janice, Kevin, Rochelle and Ricardo. To date, Elder Inbal and Evangelist Christene, are also the proud grandparents of six grandchildren.
They accepted the call in 2005 to assist Senior Pastor R.L. and Co-Pastor Nicole Richards in pastoring the Triumphant Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. Every day they are leaning on the Lord, fighting the good fight and keeping the faith.

Now also we beseech you, brethren, get to know those who labor among you [recognize them for what they are, acknowledge and appreciate and respect them all]—your leaders who are over you in the Lord and those who warn and kindly reprove and exhort you.
And hold them in very high and most affectionate esteem in [intelligent and sympathetic] appreciation of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.
